The invention relates to a method and a device for determining the ratio between the contents of chlorophyll and of a chromophore compound that is non-fluorescent in the chlorophyll fluorescence band, in a vegetable tissue without determining said contents. The method comprises: emitting two excitation radiations of the chlorophyll fluorescence, one of the excitation radiations being absorbed by the chromophore compound and the other not; measuring the induced fluorescence radiations, the fluorescence radiation induced by the excitation radiation absorbed by the chromophore compound being measured outside the chlorophyll absorption spectrum and the fluorescence radiation induced by the excitation radiation not absorbed by the chromophore compound being measured within the chlorophyll absorption spectrum; determining the contents ratio from the ratio of the measured fluorescence radiations. The invention can be used for measuring an indicator called NBI (Nitrogen Balance Index) of plant nitrogen nutrition.
L'invention concerne un procédé et dispositif de détermination du rapport des teneurs en chlorophylle et en un composé chromophore non fluorescent dans la bande de fluorescence de la chlorophylle d'un tissu végétal, sans la détermination desdites teneurs. Le procédé comprend: une émission de deux rayonnements d'excitation de la fluorescence de la chlorophylle, l'un des rayonnements d'excitation étant absorbée par le composé chromophore et l'autre non; une mesure des rayonnements de fluorescence induits, le rayonnement de fluorescence induit par le rayonnement d'excitation absorbé par le composé chromophore étant mesuré hors du spectre d'absorption de la chlorophylle et le rayonnement de fluorescence induit par le rayonnement d'excitation non absorbé par le composé chromophore étant mesuré dans le spectre d'absorption de la chlorophylle; le rapport des teneurs est déterminé par le rapport des rayonnements de fluorescence mesurés. L'invention peut être mise en oeuvre pour la mesure d'un indicateur, appelé NBI (Nitrogen Balance Index), de la nutrition azotée des plantes.
