The invention relates to a method for electrochemical disinfection of water without addition of chemical products, by means of at least one cell, comprising an anode (1) and a cathode (2), contained in a housing (3), provided with inlet (4) and outlet means (5) for water. Said method is characterised in essentially comprising: a) circulating the water for disinfection in a laminar or quasi-laminar manner, in the space between the catalytic faces opposite the anode (1) and the cathode (2) of a given cell, b) using opposing catalytic faces with identical surfaces, c) supplying electrically each pair of anode and cathode by means of connections (1A) and (2A), arranged in opposition.

L'invention concerne un procédé de désinfection électrochimique des eaux, sans ajout de produit chimique, au moyen d'au moins une cellule comportant une anode (1) et une cathode (2) contenues dans un boîtier (3) pourvu de moyens d'amenée (4) et d'évacuation (5) des eaux. Ledit procédé se caractérise en ce qu'il consiste essentiellement : a) à faire circuler l'eau à désinfecter, de manière laminaire, ou quasi-laminaire, dans l'espace existant entre les faces catalytiques en regard de l'anode (1) et de la cathode (2) d'une cellule donnée ; b) à utiliser des faces catalytiques en regard qui possèdent des superficies identiques ; c) à alimenter électriquement chaque paire d'anode et de cathode par des connexions (1A) et (2A) montées en opposition.
