A wireless communication network includes a plurality of mobile nodes each including a transceiver (14), a phased array antenna (16) connected to the transceiver, and a controller (18) connected to the transceiver. The controller schedules a respective semi-permanent time slot for each time frame to establish a communication link with each neighboring mobile node and leaves at least one available time slot in each time frame. The controller also schedules the at least one available time slot to also serve the communication link with a neighboring mobile node based upon link communications demand. The controller waits a time period to resend another request upon simultaneously sending a request to an other mobile node and receiving a request from the other mobile node without receiving a corresponding reply.
L'invention concerne un réseau de communication sans fil comprenant une pluralité de noeuds mobiles possédant de manière individuelle un émetteur-récepteur (14), une antenne réseau à commande de phase (16) connectée à l'émetteur-récepteur et une unité de commande (18) connectée à l'émetteur-récepteur. L'unité de commande programme un créneau temporel semi-permanent respectif pour chaque trame temporelle de manière à établir une liaison de communication avec chaque noeud mobile voisin et laisse au moins un créneau temporel disponible dans chaque trame temporelle. L'unité de commande programme également le créneau temporel disponible de manière qu'il serve aussi la liaison de communication avec un noeud mobile voisin en fonction de la demande de communications de liaison. L'unité de commande attend un certain temps avant de renvoyer une autre demande au moment de l'envoi d'une demande à un autre noeud mobile et de la réception d'une demande à partir de l'autre noeud mobile sans réception d'une réponse correspondante.
