In a method for exactly positioning and applying fastening elements within mounting bodies of a track support of a track system for a track- bound transport system a track support is first manufactured, and during manufacture, in a manufacturing position of the track support, preset coordinates for a connecting location of the fastening elements at the mounting bodies are defined. After completion of manufacture and abandoning the manufacturing position, the exact actual spatial position of the track support is measured. The actual spatial position of the track support is compared with the manufacturing position of the track support. The differential spatial position between the actual spatial position and the manufacturing position is assessed. Based on the differential spatial position, the positional change of the preset coordinates of the connecting location is determined and corrected coordinates for the connecting location based on the positional change are generated.
