The invention relates to a method and a device for the exchange of an old working belt (1) on a machine for production of a web, for example a paper web, for a new working belt (13). According to the invention, the exchange is simplified, whereby the track start of the new belt is connected to the old belt, the old belt is made to circulate and thus draws the new belt around such that the new belt adopts the position of the old belt. A joint is then made between two facing ends of the new belt. Said drawing device is embodied such as to permit the old belt for exchange to be pushed from one side of the machine. The device comprises a frame (12) with two transverse elements (12.2, 12.3), which enclose the old belt between them in the assembled state. One transverse element (12.2) supports a roll (13.1) of the new belt and the other transverse element (12.3) supports a winding device (18) for winding on the old belt.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de remplacer une bande de travail usée (1) dans une machine à fabriquer une feuille continue, en particulier une feuille continue de papier, par une bande de travail neuve (13). L'objectif de cette invention est de simplifier le remplacement. A cet effet, le procédé selon l'invention consiste à raccorder le début de la bande neuve à la bande usée, à faire tourner la bande usée et à insérer ainsi la bande neuve, de sorte que cette dernière prenne la position de la bande usée. Ensuite, un joint est formé à partir de deux extrémités opposées de la bande neuve. Le dispositif d'insertion selon l'invention est conçu, de sorte que la bande usée à remplacer peut être glissée depuis un côté de la machine. Ce dispositif comprend un bâti (12) pourvu de deux éléments transversaux (12.2, 12.3) qui, à l'état monté, entourent la bande usée. Le premier élément transversal (12.2) porte un rouleau (13.1) de bande neuve et l'autre élément transversal (12.3) porte un dispositif d'enroulement (18) destiné à enrouler la bande usée.
