The invention concerns the reception of a radio navigation signal from a satellite positioning system such as GPS. The invention concerns a method for calculating correlations between a first sequence and a second sequence, said first sequence and said second sequence having a duration DCode, the first sequence being extracted from a digital signal including a code, said code comprising elementary time divisions, or chips, of average duration Dchip, said chips being synchronized on pulses delivered by a numerically controlled oscillator (NCO) at the average frequency 2/Dchip, the second sequence resulting from a sampling at a frequency Fe of an analog signal, the frequency Fe being higher than 2/Dchip. According to the invention, the method includes a step of cumulating samples of the second sequence, over consecutive integration intervals of duration averaging Dchip/2, starting at each pulse of the NCO, to determine the results of elementary accumulations.

Le domaine de l'invention est celui de la réception d'un signal de radionavigation provenant d'un système de positionnement par satellites tel que le système GPS. La présente invention est relative à un procédé de calcul de corrélations entre une première séquence et une deuxième séquence, ladite première séquence et ladite deuxième séquence ayant une durée DCode, la première séquence étant extraite d'un signal numérique comportant un code, ledit code comportant des divisions temporelles élémentaires, appelées chips, de durée moyenne Dchip, lesdits chips étant synchronisés sur des impulsions délivrées par un oscillateur NCO à la fréquence moyenne 2/Dchip, la deuxième séquence résultant d'un échantillonnage à une fréquence Fe d'un signal analogique, la fréquence Fe étant supérieure à 2/Dchip. Selon l'invention, il comporte une étape de cumul des échantillons de la deuxième séquence, sur des intervalles d'intégration consécutifs de durée égale en moyenne à Dchip/2, débutant à chaque impulsion de l'oscillateur NCO, pour déterminer des résultats de cumuls élémentaires.
