A method and a device for continuous forming of a mat of particle lignocellulosic material by means of a batching unit (12) with a distribution chamber (15) in connection with the manufacture of board. The material is deposited on a continuous forming web (16), and the width of the mat is controlled by means of laterally movable partition walls (30) in the distribution chamber (15). The main part of the material is deposited on the forming web (16) between the partition walls (30), and the partial amount of the particle material dropping outside the partition walls (30) is diverted by means (32) and discharged separately in the distribution chamber (15) and re- used in the mat forming, in that it is directly placed as a surface layer of the mat by distribution means (35).

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de former en continu un mat de particules de matériau lignocellulosique grâce à l'utilisation, pour la fabrication de panneaux, d'une unité (12) de dosage comprenant une chambre (15) de distribution. Le matériau est déposé sur une bande (16) continue de formation et la largeur de la bande est réglée au moyen de parois (30) de séparation disposées dans la chambre (15) de distribution et pouvant être déplacées latéralement. La majeurs partie du matériau est déposée sur la bande (16) de formation, entre les parois (30) de séparation, et la quantité partielle de matériau particulaire tombant à l'extérieur des parois (30) de séparation est déviée par des moyens (32) de déviation et déchargée séparément dans la chambre (15) de distribution puis réutilisée pour être déposée sur le mat par des moyens (35) de distribution de façon à former une couche superficielle.
