A B S T R A C T Method and device for forming by spraying, a polyurethane layer on a surface Method and device for forming a gellified polyurethane layer on a surface, notably of a mould, by spraying a liquid reaction mixture comprising polyol and isocyanates having a viscosity between 20 and 2000 centipoises, wherein said mixture is sprayed on said surface in this form of a film or droplets having a mean diameter (Medium Volume Diameter: "M.V.D.") which, according to the standards ASTM E 799-81, is larger than 100 microns and preferably larger than 500 microns.
