The invention relates to a method and device for electroplating plate-shaped product, particularly printed circuit boards, in horizontal continuous plants with optional sequence of product, revolving contacting means serving for electrical connection of a source of bath current via wiper rails with the product, and the beginning and end of each individual product item at the inlet to the electroplating plant, and the transport speed of the product, being detected with the aid of sensors, said sensors sending sensor signals to a control system which ascertains whether a product item is present at the gripping point of the contacting means or not, the contacting means being connected electrically and in the electroplating sense in a low-resistance manner to the sources of bath current only when product is present in the region of contacts of the contacting means.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif servant à galvaniser des produits se présentant sous forme de plaques (4), notamment des cartes de circuits, dans des installations horizontales à passage continu, dans un ordre quelconque. Des éléments rotatifs de mise en contact servent à connecter électriquement une source de courant de bain avec le produit à traiter, par l'intermédiaire de rails de glissement. Des détecteurs détectent le début et la fin d'un produit à traiter individuel au moment de son entrée dans l'installation de galvanisation, ainsi que sa vitesse de transport. Les détecteurs (24) acheminent des signaux jusqu'à un système de commande qui détermine si l'élément de mise en contact trouve ou non le produit à traiter au point de préhension. L'élément de mise en contact n'est relié électriquement aux sources de courant de bain et à basse impédance, au sens galvanique, que si le produit à traiter se trouve dans la zone des contacts des éléments de mise en contact.
