The present invention relates to a method and a device for grinding buttons of a rock drilling bit, said device including a grinding head (10), a rotatable grinding spindle (56) protruding from the grinding head (10), the free end of the grinding spindle (56) being adapted to drivingly and detachably carry a grinding cup (82). In prior art devices the supply of flushing medium to the button to be ground is effected via the grinding head (10). This complicates the design of the grinding head. The characterizing feature of the present invention is that the flushing medium is supplied to the portion of the grinding spindle (56) that is located outside the grinding head (10).
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif servant à meuler les bosses d'une mèche de perforation de la roche; ledit dispositif comprend une tête de meulage (10), une broche de meulage rotative (56) formant une saillie depuis la tête de meulage (10), l'extrémité libre de la broche (56) étant conçue pour porter, de façon amovible, une couronne de meulage, afin de la commander. Dans l'état actuel de la technique, l'apport de liquide de lavage vers la bosse à meuler s'effectue par l'intermédiaire de la tête de meulage (10). Ceci ne simplifie pas la conception de la tête de meulage. L'invention est caractérisé par le fait que l'apport du liquide de lavage s'effectue vers la partie de la tige de meulage (56) située à l'extérieur de la tête de meulage (10).
