PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Le procédé suivant l'invention concerne la réali- sation, sans enlèvement de matière, de gorges, telles que des filets hélicoïdaux sur la paroi de tubes en matériaux ductiles ou plastiques. Il consiste à mettre en oeuvre une molette de rayon libre en rotation autour d'un axe. Cet axe parcourt, dans un sens prédéterminé, une courbe fermée déterminée qui peut être une circonférence d'axe X4. La courbe-enveloppe du parcours du bord de formage de la molette présente une paroi de révolution d'axe X2 une zone d'intersection. Le diamètre de la molette est supérieur au diamètre de la circonférence. On obtient un filet hélicoïdal en déplaçant de façon relative la paroi de ré- volution le long de son axe X2 par rapport à la molette.
