The invention concerns a method and device for heat-treating plaster which is calcined to form hemihydrate plaster or anhydrite. Calcining to form hemihydrate plaster is carried out in at least one fluid bed region in which the water vapour partial pressure and material temperature are adjusted. The at least one fluid bed region can be followed by a further fluid bed region in which the anhydrite is formed and the water vapour partial pressure and material temperature are also adjusted. In addition, a fluid bed region can be provided for cooling purposes before the product-discharge point.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif permettant de traiter thermiquement du plâtre, calciné pour former du plâtre demi-cuit ou de l'anhydrite. La calcination destinée à produire du plâtre demi-cuit s'effectue dans au moins une zone à lit fluidisé où la pression partielle de la vapeur d'eau et la température du matériau sont ajustées. La ou les zones à lit fluidisé peut être suivie d'une autre zone à lit fluidisé réservée à la production d'anhydrite dans laquelle la pression partielle de la vapeur d'eau et la température du matériau sont également ajustées. En outre il peut être prévu une zone à lit fluidisé réservée au refroidissement, en amont du point de décharge du produit.
