According to the inventive method for hot-forming thermoplastics, a blank, preform or similar semi-finished product is heated to a preforming temperature and then deformed using a forming device. Said blank is subjected to radiation of a set intensity for a set period of time. The maximum intensity of the source of said radiation lies in an emission wavelength range in which the thermoplastic absorbs the radiation emitted at a lower absorption ratio than for longer wavelengths. The invention also relates to a device for hot-forming thermoplastics, comprising a heat supply device for heating the blank, preform or similar semi-finished product to a preforming temperature, and a forming device, especially a blow-(stretch)-device, a deep draw device or similar forming tool for deforming the heated blank. Said heating device comprises a radiation source which is provided with a regulating device for regulating an emission spectrum to ensure that the maximum intensity of said radiation source lies in an emission wavelength range in which the thermoplastic absorbs the radiation emitted at a lower absorption ratio than for longer wavelengths.
L'invention concerne un procédé de façonnage à chaud de thermoplastes, selon lequel une ébauche, une préforme ou un produit semi-fini équivalent est chauffé à une température de façonnage puis façonné par un dispositif de façonnage. L'ébauche est exposée pendant un temps déterminé à un rayonnement d'une intensité définie d'une source de rayonnement dont l'intensité maximale se situe dans une plage de longueurs d'ondes d'émission dans laquelle le thermoplaste absorbe le rayonnement avec un degré d'absorption inférieur à celui rencontré dans le cas de plus grandes longueurs d'ondes. L'invention concerne également, d'une part, un dispositif permettant de façonner à chaud des thermoplastes et comprenant un dispositif d'amenée de chaleur permettant de chauffer une ébauche, une préforme ou un produit semi-fini équivalent à une température de façonnage et, d'autre part, un dispositif de façonnage, notamment un dispositif d'injection d'air (d'étirage), un dispositif de thermoformage ou un outil équivalent permettant de façonner l'ébauche chauffée. Le dispositif de chauffage comprend une source de rayonnement équipée d'un dispositif de régulation permettant de régler une source de rayonnement à un spectre d'émission de telle façon qu'une intensité maximale de la source de rayonnement se situe dans une plage de longueurs d'ondes d'émission, dans laquelle le thermoplaste absorbe le rayonnement incident avec un degré d'absorption inférieur à celui rencontré dans le cas de plus grandes longueurs d'ondes.
