PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: Procédé et dispositif pour l'exploitation des laminoirs à pas de pèlerin à froid pour le laminage de tube. Le procédé consiste sur un laminoir pèlerin à froid à effectuer un mouvement de recul du mandrin vers l'amont puis de retour à sa position initiale, au moins une fois par cycle de laminage. Le période durant laquelle le man- drin se trouve en retrait par rapport à sa position de laminage est avantageusement utilisée par exemple pour effectuer la rotation du mandrin et/ou pour faire circuler un lubrifiant sous pression entre le mandrin et le tube. Le procédé s'applique en particulier au laminage de tubes de grosse section, avec de forts taux de réduction.
