The invention relates to a method and a device for cooling an extruded thermoplastics pipe (1) by directing a gaseous cooling medium tangentially towards the inner surface of the thermoplastics pipe (1) along its whole periphery, whereby the interior of the thermoplastics pipe (1) is divided by means of a protecting pipe (8) into an outer ring-shaped flow channel (9) for the cooling medium along the inner surface of the thermoplastics pipe (1), and a central return channel (10) through which a part of the cooling medium is intended to be sucked back influenced by the flow of cooling medium in the outer ring-shaped flow channel (9), and to be redirected towards the inner surface of the thermoplastics pipe (1). The invention is characterized in that the cooling medium is air, and that there is a cooling equipment (6) mounted in the return channel (10), whereby temperature and flow rate at least of the cooling water led to the cooling equipment (6) and possibly also of the cooling air which is fed into the thermoplastics pipe (1) are adjusted and controlled based on dimension and extrusion rate of the thermoplastics pipe (1) being manufactured.
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour refroidir un tuyau thermoplastique extrudé (1) par direction d~un milieu de refroidissement gazeux tangentiellement vers la surface interne du tuyau thermoplastique (1) le long de la totalité de sa périphérie, moyennant quoi l'intérieur du tuyau thermoplastique (1) est divisé au moyen d~un tuyau de protection (8) en un canal d~écoulement externe de forme annulaire (9) pour le milieu de refroidissement le long de la surface interne du tuyau thermoplastique (1), et en un canal de retour central (10) à travers lequel une partie du milieu de refroidissement est prévue pour être aspirée, influencée par l'écoulement du milieu de refroidissement dans le canal d'écoulement externe de forme annulaire (9), et devant être réorientée vers la surface interne du tuyau thermoplastique (1). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que le milieu de refroidissement est l~air, et qu'il y a un équipement de refroidissement (6) monté dans le canal de retour (10), moyennant quoi la température et le débit au moins de l'eau de refroidissement qui va à l'équipement de refroidissement (6) et également probablement de l~air de refroidissement qui est introduit dans le tuyau thermoplastique (1) sont ajustés et régulés sur la base de la dimension et de la vitesse d~extrusion du tuyau thermoplastique (1) que l~on fabrique.
