The invention relates to a method and a device for interposing an optical component between two optical fibres provided with lenses (3, 4) on the ends thereof. The inventive method consists in perforating a support (6) in such a way that it is possible to fix a capillary tube (7) whose inner diameter enables an optical fibre to slip therein, fixing the capillary tube (7) to the perforation (8) of the support (6), embodying a blind notch in the support (6) and the capillary tube (7) in such a way that said capillary tube (7) is divided into two parts (7a, 7b), the first flat surface (11) of the notch (10) being perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (5) of the capillary tube (7), arranging the component (12) on the first flat surface (11) and in introducing an optical fibre (1,2) into each part (7a, 7b). The inventive device comprises a support with the capillary tube (7) transversally fixed thereto. The support (6) is provided with a notch (10) in such a way that the capillary tube (7) is divided into two parts (7a, 7b). The notch (10) has the first flat surface (11) which is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis (5) of the capillary tube (7). The component is arranged on said first flat surface (11).
L'invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un dispositif de positionnement d'un composant optique entre deux fibres optiques munies à leur extrémité de lentilles (3, 4). Le procédé consiste à: percer un support (6) de façon à y fixer un tube capillaire (7) dont le diamètre intérieur est prévu pour y glisser une fibre optique, fixer le tube capillaire (7) dans le perçage (8) du support (6), réaliser une découpe (10) borgne du support (6) et du tube capillaire (7), de façon à séparer le tube capillaire (7) en deux parties (7a, 7b), une première face plane (11) de la découpe (10) étant perpendiculaire à un axe (5) longitudinal du tube capillaire (7), positionner le composant (12) sur la première face plane (11), positionner une fibre optique (1, 2) dans chacune des parties (7a, 7b). Le dispositif comporte un support au travers duquel est fixé un tube capillaire (7), le support (6) comportant une découpe (10) de façon à séparer le tube capillaire (7) en deux parties (7a, 7b). La découpe (10) comporte une première face plane (11) perpendiculaire à un axe (5) longitudinal du tube capillaire (7). Le composant est positionné sur la première face plane (11).
