A method and device for managing resources in shared networks is based on a few basic comparisons between resources and/or thresholds. If an access request is received (202) and there are not enough resources available (204), the request is rejected (212). If there are resources available (204), there is a check to see if the resource is in a congested state (206). If not, then the connection is accepted (210). If the resource is in a congested state (206), then a test is performed (208) to determine whether or not the resources will be assigned to an operator who has already exceeded the assigned utilisation. If it has, then the connection is rejected (212), otherwise it is accepted (210). Preferred embodiments incorporating priority handling, re-negotiations and soft congestion are easily implemented. In a shared UTRAN, the functionalities for managing the radio baseband allocation for a shared Node B are preferably incorporated in the shared RNC.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de gestion de ressources dans des réseaux partagés, basés sur quelques comparaisons de base entre des ressources et/ou des seuils. Si une demande d'accès est reçue (202) et que le nombre de ressources disponibles (204) n'est pas suffisant, une vérification est menée à bien pour voir si la ressource dans un état encombré (206). Si ladite ressource n'est pas dans un état encombré (210), la connexion est acceptée (210). Si la ressource est dans un état encombré (206), un test est effectué (208) pour déterminer si les ressources sont attribuées ou non à un opérateur ayant déjà dépassé l'utilisation attribuée. Si c'est le cas, la connexion est rejetée (212), autrement elle est acceptée (210). Dans des modes de réalisation préférés, la gestion de priorités, les re-négociations et la congestion douce sont facilement mis en oeuvre. Dans un UTRAN partagé, les fonctionnalités pour la gestion de l'attribution de bande de base radio pour un noeud partagé B sont de préférence intégrées dans le RNC partagé.
