A device for manufacturing a crosslaid fibre web on the basis of two parallel longitudinal fibre webs and segments of another longitudinal fibre web comprises a fixing table on which the longitudinal fibre webs and the segments come together. Furthermore, the device comprises a pair of high-voltage bars, movably arranged with respect to the fixing table. When a segment is in a correct end position with respect to the longitudinal fibre webs on the fixing table, the pair of high-voltage bars is activated and moved with respect to the segment and the longitudinal fibre webs, wherein the segment and the longitudinal fibre webs are situated between the high-voltage bars. As a consequence, the segment is fixed with respect to the longitudinal fibre webs, before being supplied to another device in order to get definitively connected to the longitudinal fibre webs.
