The invention concerns a copy-protected disc of the double spiral type, wherein there is a protective zone where a secondary spiral (P¿B?) is embedded between the turns of a main spiral (P¿A?), the pitch of each spiral turn from an adjacent turn maintaining the standard value. To enable non-disturbed playback with standard reproducing devices, an offset of k sectors is provided between sectors of a common address (n) on each of the two spirals. Additionally, there are provided filling zones (F¿Acc?, F¿Dec?) at the beginning and at the end of the useful portion of the secondary track (P¿B?) to avoid the risks of gaps or collapse between the tracks. The invention is applicable to copy-protected discs and their manufacture.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour le matriçage d'un disque optique protégé contre la copie et un tel disque. Le disque protégé est du type à double spirale, dans lequel existe une zone de protection où une spirale secondaire (PB) est imbriquée entre les tours d'une spirale principale (PA), le pas d'un tour de spirale au tour adjacent conservant la valeur standard. Pour permettre une lecture non perturbée par des lecteurs standards, il est prévu de réaliser un décalage de k secteurs entre les secteurs de même adresse (n) sur chacune des deux spirales. On prévoit en outre des zones de remplissage (FAcc, FDec) au début et à la fin de la partie utile de la piste secondaire (PB) pour éviter les risques de "trou" ou d'écrasement des pistes entre elles. L'invention s'applique aux disques optiques protégés contre la copie et à leur fabrication.
