The present invention relates to a device and method for measuring the bleach requirement and bleachability of pulp in a pulp mill. The invention enables pulp mill operators to better control bleach plants. In one aspect, the invention comprises a system and method for rapid bleaching of the pulp, and measuring the rapid bleached brightness and lignin content of the pulp. In another aspect, the invention comprises an optical system for use in practicing embodiments of this invention.
Cette invention se rapporte à un dispositif et à un procédé servant à mesurer les besoins en blanchiment et l'aptitude au blanchiment d'une pâte à papier dans une fabrique de pâte à papier. Cette invention permet aux opérateurs de la fabrique de mieux commander les installations de blanchiment. Dans un premier aspect, cette invention comprend un système et un procédé servant au blanchiment rapide de la pâte et permettant de mesurer la blancheur de la pâte après ce blanchiment rapide, ainsi que la teneur en lignine de la pâte. Dans un second aspect, cette invention comprend un système optique servant à mettre en pratique les modes de réalisation de cette invention.
