A device for measuring concentration of a flowing suspension wherein a moveable detector body (3) is arranged for detecting the resistance against movement in the suspension, and including a flow modifying element (4) for bringing a portion of the suspension which is representative of the concentration of the suspension flow to the region of the detector element (3). The invention is distinguished by the flow modifying element being a fixed deflector (4), which is arranged to deflect a boundary layer (7) of the suspension flow closest to the conduit wall (1) such that it is brought away from the region of the detector body (3). The invention also concerns a method for measuring concentration and a deflector.
L'invention concerne un dispositif permettant de mesurer la concentration d'un flux de suspension contenant un corps détecteur mobile (3) destiné à détecter la résistance au mouvement dans la suspension. Ce dispositif comprend un élément (4) modifiant le flux destiné à amener une partie de la suspension représentative de la concentration du flux de suspension jusqu'à la région de l'élément détecteur (3). L'invention est caractérisée en ce que l'élément modifiant le flux est un déflecteur fixé (4) conçu pour dévier une couche limite (7) du flux de suspension à proximité immédiate de la paroi de conduit (1) de telle façon qu'elle soit éloignée de la région du corps détecteur (3). L'invention concerne également un procédé de mesure de concentration et un déflecteur.
