The present invention relates to a method and to a device for monitoring the presence of at least one guide rail (1) for a guided vehicle, said device comprising: - a first detector (41) located downstream of a wheel (3), said detector (41) being capable of detecting the presence of said rail (1) and of transmitting a first signal (S A) relating to said presence of said rail to a monitoring member (5), characterized in that: - a second detector (42) located upstream of said wheel is capable of being connected in parallel with said first detector (41) and of detecting said presence of said rail (1), - said second detector (42) is capable of communicating to said monitoring member (5) a second signal (S B) relating to said presence of said rail.
La présente invention décrit une méthode et dispositif de contrôle de présence d'au moins un rail (1) de guidage d'un véhicule guidé, ledit dispositif comprenant: - un premier détecteur (41) situé en aval d'une roue (3), ledit détecteur (41) étant apte à détecter la présence dudit rail (1) et à transmettre un premier signal (SA) relatif à ladite présence dudit rail à un organe de contrôle (5), caractérisé en ce que - un second détecteur (42) situé en amont de ladite roue est apte à être connecté en parallèle avec ledit premier détecteur (41), et à détecter ladite présence dudit rail (1), - ledit second détecteur (42) est apte à communiquer audit organe de contrôle (5) un second signal (SB) relatif à ladite présence dudit rail.
