The invention makes it possible to produce from a blank an article whose contour is altered, preferably linearly enlarged, with great precision in relation to a corresponding contour of a used model (1c). A copying machine is used in the production. The machine comprises, on the one hand, a first pair of units (1, 2) which are arranged so as to be rotatable. The model (1c) is arranged on the first unit (1) and the blank is arranged on the second unit (2). The machine also comprises a pair of second units (24, 25) in which one supports a detecting member (24a) which is brought into cooperation with the model, and the second unit supports a machining or actuating member which is brought into cooperation with and acts on the blank. The said pairs of units are displaced from and towards each other during production. In each pair of units, the units are also controlled individually so that the one unit executes second displacement movements relative to the other unit in such a way that the desired alteration is obtained.
La présente invention rend possible la production, à partir d'une ébauche, d'un article dont le contour est altéré, après agrandissement linéaire préalable avec une haute précision par rapport au contour d'un modèle usagé (1c). Une machine à reproduire est utilisée aux fins de la production. La machine comporte, d'une part, une première paire d'unités (1 et 2) qui sont disposées de manière à pouvoir tourner. Le modèle (1c) est disposé sur la première unité (1) et l'ébauche est disposée sur la deuxième unité (2). La machine comporte également une deuxième paire d'unités (24 et 25), l'une d'elles supportant un détecteur (24a) qui est mis en coopération avec le modèle, et la deuxième unité supporte un organe d'usinage ou un actionneur qui est mis en coopération avec l'ébauche. Les paires d'unités en question sont animées d'un mouvement de va-et-vient l'une par rapport à l'autre durant la production. Dans chaque paire d'unités, les unités peuvent également être commandées individuellement, de sorte qu'une unité peut exécuter les mouvements de déplacement de la deuxième unité de manière à obtenir l'altération souhaitée.
