ABSTRACT The method consists in sitting liquid metal in an induction field in a rapid rotational motion and in utilizing the centrifugal forces to extend the metal in the form of a rotating film, becoming progressively thinner, along a baffle surface located in an induction field. The metal can then emerge through the baffle surface in the form of wires or can be reduced in size on a cylindrical impact wall and then cooled.
