The invention relates to a method for producing curved work pieces (W) according to which an extruded profile leaves the die (1) of an extruder in the strand discharge direction (A) and is then bent into a curved shape under the influence of external forces. According to the invention, the extruded profile that leaves the die (1), before being bent, is deflected in such a manner that the strand discharge direction (A) extends forwards at an angle counter to the eventual curvature of the work piece. To this end, the extrusion die for producing curved work pieces (W) comprises a tool holder (6) in whose receiving opening (9) an extrusion tool package consisting of a die (1) with or without a mandrel (4) and a cover part (8) is disposed. The guide surfaces (3) of the die (1) and/or the mandrel (4) that produce the discharged strand are designed or disposed to be at an angle with respect to the strand discharge direction (A). The strand discharge direction (A) extends at an incline (S) with respect to the center axis (M) of the die (1) counter to the eventual curvature of the work piece (W).

L'invention concerne en outre un dispositif d'extrudeuse à vis pour la production de profilés extrudés (W), caractérisé en ce qu'il comprend un porte-outil (6), dans l'ouverture d'admission (9) duquel est disposé un ensemble d'outillage d'extrusion comprenant une matrice (1), avec ou sans poinçon (4), et un élément de recouvrement (8), en ce que les surfaces-guides (3) de la matrice (1) et/ou du poinçon (4) produisant l'extrudat sont configurées obliques ou disposées obliques, suivant la direction de décharge (A) de l'extrudat, et en ce que ladite direction (A) s'étend suivant un angle d'inclinaison (S) par rapport à l'axe central (M) de la matrice (1), à l'encontre de la courbure ultérieure de la pièce (W).
