The invention relates to a method for producing electricity and conversion products such as ethanol, comprising the steps of. i) separating a starch source into a starch-rich fraction and a residual fraction; ii) heating the starch-rich fraction for the purpose of gelling the starch; iii) releasing the gelled starch from the starch-rich fraction; iva) converting the gelled starch enzymatically into sugars; ivb) converting the sugars fermentatively into the conversion products; v) further processing the conversion products from the conversion medium; vi) generating biogas from residual fraction; vii) generating electricity and heat from biogas and/or residual fraction via cogeneration of heat and electricity; and viii) using the generated heat in one or more steps i) to vi).
L'invention concerne un procédé de production d'électricité et de produits de conversion tels que l'éthanol. Ce procédé consiste: i) à séparer une source d'amidon en une fraction riche en amidon et une fraction résiduelle ; ii) à chauffer la fraction riche en amidon pour gélifier l'amidon ; iii) à libérer l'amidon gélifiée de la fraction riche en amidon ; iva) à convertir l'amidon gélifié de façon enzymatique en sucres ; ivb) à convertir les sucres par fermentation en produits de conversion ; v) à traiter en outre les produits de conversion à partir du milieu de conversion ; vi) à générer du biogaz à partir de fraction résiduelle ; vii) à générer de l'électricité et de la chaleur à partir du biogaz et/ou de fraction résiduelle par cogénération de chaleur et d'électricité ; et viii) à utiliser la chaleur générée dans une ou les étapes de i) à vi).
