The invention relates to a method and a device for producing nitrogen fertilizer from organic waste products in the liquid phase (suspension, emulsion, solution) and for hygienizing the wastes or reducing the emissions by thermal treatment using mineral or organic additions. According to the invention, this is achieved by a method, wherein the waste product is heated at underpressure to temperatures between 40 and 90 °C, the escaping gas containing carbon dioxide and ammonia is cooled down and introduced into an aqueous absorption agent, the nitrogen fertilizer formed thereby is discharged and the excess gas not having been absorbed and containing carbon dioxide is pumped back into the discharge container, wherein the underpressure generated at the beginning of the process by a vacuum pump is autogenously maintained by the progress of the process. Suitably, the return of the excess gas into the cycle is performed by either conducting it immediately above the waste product to be treated, or through a gas cooling system above the waste product to be treated, or dividing it and conducting a partial flow through the waste product and another partial flow above the waste product. Preferably, a gypsum suspension is used as an aqueous absorption agent.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour obtenir des engrais azotés à partir de déchets organiques en phase liquide (suspension, émulsion, solution) ainsi que pour assainir ces déchets et réduire des émissions par traitement thermique au moyen d'additifs minéraux ou organiques. A cet effet, un procédé selon l'invention consiste à chauffer les déchets sous vide à une température comprise entre 40 ·C et 90 ·C, à refroidir le gaz dégagé, contenant de l'ammoniac et du dioxyde de carbone, et à injecter ce gaz dans un absorbant aqueux, à extraire l'engrais azoté ainsi formé et à ramener par pompage le surplus de gaz non absorbé, contenant du dioxyde de carbone, au réservoir de décharge, le vide produit au début du processus par une pompe à vide étant maintenu tout au long du processus. Le surplus de gaz est remis en circuit de façon appropriée, en étant injecté soit directement au-dessus des déchets à traiter, soit par l'intermédiaire d'un système de refroidissement de gaz au-dessus des déchets à traiter, soit sous forme divisée en un flux partiel à travers les déchets et en un autre flux partiel au-dessus des déchets. On utilise, de préférence, une pâte de plâtre comme absorbant aqueux.
