The inventive method and device for protecting information against unauthorised use makes it possible to detect a user who submits a copy for unauthorised copying. Information obtained by the user is coded by means of an asymmetrical cryptography method using said user's key which is received by a distributor of information. The information is decoded before the use thereof with the aid of a privet key of the user. In order to improve the protection, the decoding can be carried out directly in the processor of the computer of the user in such a way that the decoded information does not exist outside said processor.
Procédé et système de protection des informations contre l'utilisation non autorisée permettant d'identifier l'utilisateur qui a mis à disposition sa copie à des fins de duplication non autorisée. Les informations acquises par l'utilisateur sont chiffrées par un procédé de cryptographie asymétrique au moyen de la clé publique de l'utilisateur, reçue par le diffuseur des informations. Avant l'utilisation, les informations sont déchiffrées par la clé secrète de l'utilisateur. Afin d'améliorer la protection, le déchiffrement peut avoir lieu directement dans le processeur de l'ordinateur utilisateur, de manière à ce que les informations déchiffrées n'existent pas en dehors du processeur.
