The invention relates to a method for protecting objects (O) against rocket-propelled grenades (G) having a hollow nose cone (4). A netting (5) of knotted and coated superstrong fibres is disposed in front of the object, in such a manner that the nose cone of a rocket caught in the netting will penetrate one of the meshes of the netting and be deformed through strangulation, thereby disabling the detonator. A device to be used with said method comprises a netting of knotted superstrong fibres provided with a flexible coating, formed with a plurality of meshes having a stretched mesh length of maximally about 8 cm.

La présente invention se rapporte à un procédé permettant de protéger des objets (O) contre des grenades propulsées par fusée (G) comprenant un cône avant creux (4). Un filet (5) réalisé en fibres nouées et revêtues super solides est placé devant l'objet de telle sorte que le cône avant d'une fusée prise dans le filet pénètre dans l'une des mailles du filet et est déformée par strangulation, désactivant ainsi le détonateur. Un dispositif prévu pour être utilisé avec ledit procédé comprend un filet réalisé en fibres nouées super solides pourvues d'un revêtement souple formé d'une pluralité de mailles ayant une longueur de maille étirée de 8 cm environ maximum.
