A method and device for purifying air contaminated by paint particles (6). Paint particles passing in front of a workpiece (7) which is to be painted is suctioned off by means of a suction device. The flow of suctioned air is guided along the outer surface of at least one endlessly circulating loop (1). At least part of the paint particles (6) contained in the suctioned air is deposited upon the circulating loop (1).

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour purifier de l'air pollué par des particules de peinture (6). Selon ledit procédé, les particules de peinture (6) passant à côté de la pièce (7) sont aspirées par un dispositif d'aspiration. Le courant d'air aspiré est guidé le long de la surface extérieure d'au moins une bande (1) tournant en continu, au moins une partie des particules de peinture (6) contenues dans l'air aspiré se déposant sur la bande (1) tournante.
