The invention relates to a receiver and to a method for receiving a radio-electric navigation signal modulated by a carrier at a frequency f p , a sub-carrier at a frequency f sp and a pseudo-random code at a frequency fc, in which said radio-electric signal is converted into a two-way base band I, Q, characterized in that K modified pseudo-random codes, where K= .alpha..f sp /fc, a being a predetermined integer, are generated locally by a modified code generator, each modified code having, during a time duration Tk where T k=1/.alpha..fsp , the shape of the pseudo-random code without the sub-carrier, and being offset in time by a duration Tk of the preceding modified pseudo-random code; in both ways, the signal is multiplied by the K modified codes and is phase- and quadrature-correlated by two phase and quadrature sub-carriers generated locally.

L'invention concerne un récepteur et un procédé de réception d'un signal radioélectrique de navigation modulé par une porteuse de fréquence f p , une sous-porteuse de fréquence f sp et un code pseudo-aléatoire de fréquence f c , dans lequel, ledit signal radioélectrique est transformé en bande de base sur deux voies I, Q, caractérisé en ce que des codes pseudos-aléatoires modifiés, en nombre K, où K = .alpha..f sp /fc , a étant un entier prédéterminé, sont générés localement par un générateur (23) de codes modifiés, chaque code modifié présentant sur une bribe de temps Tk, où T k=1/.alpha..fsp , la forme du code pseudo-aléatoire sans sous-porteuse, et étant décalé temporellement d'une durée T k du code pseudo-aléatoire modifié précédent; sur chaque voie, le signal est multiplié par les K codes modifiés et est corrélé en phase et en quadrature par deux sous-porteuses en phase et en quadrature générées localement.
