ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The shape and position of objects (1) in space can be reconstructed from at least three pro- jections of these objects as obtained by transmission of waves influenced by their passage through said objects. The method consists in determining for each point of the projections (P1, P2) the distance (li, di) traversed through an object by each ray derived from one of the sources, in determining the volume (ABCD) which contains the object (1) and the rays which are derived from the two sources and pass through said object, in plotting the distances (li, di) traversed by the rays within the object from external limits of the volume (ABCD) containing the object, then in plotting the distances from the external limits of the space in order to define a space which is necessarily located outside the object and is more restricted than the initial volume.
