A method for the recording and estimation of the weight of fish. A number of cameras, especially CCD-cameras, record pictures of fish moving by the cameras in a transfer conduit. The fish is illuminated from different sides in the transfer conduit and pictures of different parts of the fish are recorded by a sequence control, in such a way that a compound image recording is made, which is used as a base for an estimation of the weight of the fish. A device to make measurements on fish 11, moving in a transfer conduit 12, that has at least two light sources 14 at the wall of the transfer conduit, for illumination of fish, and two or several cameras 10, especially CCD-cameras, arranged in a cross plane evenly around the circumference, to record reflections from the fish or shadow pictures of the fish.
L'invention concerne un procédé d'enregistrement et d'estimation du poids d'un poisson. Un nombre défini de caméras, notamment des caméras CCD, enregistrent des images d'un poisson grâce au déplacement de celles-ci dans un conduit de transfert. Le poisson est éclairé à partir de plusieurs côtés dans le conduit de transfert et des images de diverses parties du poisson sont enregistrées au moyen d'une commande séquentielle, d'une manière telle qu'un enregistrement d'image composé soit effectué, lequel est utilisé comme base pour une estimation du poids du poisson. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant de mesurer le poisson (11), se déplaçant dans un conduit de transfert (12), comprenant au moins deux sources lumineuses (14) au niveau de la paroi du conduit de transfert, aux fins d'éclairage du poisson, et au moins deux caméras (10), notamment des caméras CCD, disposées dans un plan transversal de manière égale autour de la circonférence, aux fins d'enregistrement des réflexions provenant du poisson ou de radiographies de celui-ci.
