The invention relates to a method and a device for releasing electrolytically deposited cathode plates (3) from each side of a mother plate (1). The charac-teristic features of the invention are that at least one roller (40A) is pressed to the surface of the deposited cathode plate (3), and that the roller (40A) is moved a dis-tance along the surface of the deposited cathode plate (3) in order to cause the release of the deposited cathode plate (3) from the mother plate (1) at least in the rolled area.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif servant à dégager des plaques de cathode (3) recouvertes par un dépôt électrolytique, depuis chaque côté d'une plaque mère (1). L'invention est caractérisée par le fait qu'au moins un rouleau (40A) est appuyé sur la surface de la plaque de cathode (3) recouverte par un dépôt électrolytique et que ledit rouleau (40A) est déplacé sur une distance le long de la surface de ladite plaque (3), de manière à provoquer le dégagement de cette dernière depuis la plaque mère (1) au moins dans la zone de déplacement du rouleau.
