The invention relates to a method for remotely controlling in a packet mode the congestion of links in a telecommunication network between an N number of central cites CI provided with flux management devices and an M number of remote sites Dm devoid thereof. The inventive method consists in exchanging, between said active devices of the central sites CI, the information specifically used for managing the flows exchangeable between each central sites CI and each remote site Dm.

L' invention concerne un procédé de contrôle distant de la congestion de flux maillés échangés dans un réseau de télécommunication en mode paquet entre un nombre N sites centraux Ci munis d'équipements de gestion de flux et un nombre M de sites distants Dm dépourvus de tels équipements. Selon l'invention, lesdits équipements actifs de sites centraux Ci échangent entre eux des informations destinées spécifiquement à la gestion des flux échangés entre chacun des sites centraux Ci et chacun des sites distants Dm.
