The present invention relates to a method for representing a selected map extract on a display of a driver information system, wherein a map background and at least one map information are represented in different colours or gray values. For an ergonomic representation, the map information and the map background are adapted to one another In particular, the colour or a gray value of the map information, especially of a road, is adapted to the colour of the map background with a limited maximum colour contrast. Depending on the selected scale of representation of the map extract, thin structures of a map information are represented in a comparatively more intensive gray or colour than thicker structures.
La présente invention concerne un procédé de représentation d'un extrait de carte sélectionné sur l'afficheur d'un système d'informations pour conducteur, un fond de carte et au moins une information de carte étant représentés dans différentes couleurs ou dans des nuances de gris. Pour une représentation ergonomique, les informations de carte sont adaptées au fond de carte, en particulier la couleur et la nuance de gris des informations de carte, et plus particulièrement une route est adaptée à la couleur du fond de carte avec un contraste de couleur maximum limité. En fonction de l'échelle sélectionnée de la rerésentation de l'extrait de carte, les structures fines d'une information de carte sont représentées dans un gris ou une couleur plus intense que pour des structures plus épaisses.
