The invention concerns a method and a machine for surface sizing of soft pieces (3) with porous surface such as fabrics, foams, ..., with liquid glue, consisting in pre-heating the surface of each piece (3) at a temperature higher than 50 DEG C, then in spraying the liquid glue by low pressure atomisation on said pre-heated surface, thus preventing the glue from penetrating the thickness of the piece.

L'invention concerne un procédé et une machine d'encollage superficiel de pièces (3) souples à surface poreuse telles que tissus, mousses, ..., avec une colle à l'eau. On préchauffe la surface de chaque pièce (3) à une température supérieure à 50 °C puis on projette la colle à l'eau par pulvérisation sous basse pression sur ladite surface préalablement chauffée. On évite ainsi toute pénétration de la colle dans l'épaisseur de la pièce.
