A method for the balancing of the automotive and aircraft wheel, in which imbalances are indicated and compensated in the manner, to assure that weight of the wheel is evenly distributed to meet a real forces in the wheel ( 1 ), rolling on the road (2), where every point of the peripheral mass of the wheel follows the cycloid curve (3). Thus, the imbalance indication has to be done by rolling the wheel in the direction of rotation, having a bottom of the wheel following the road. A physical contact with the road is not necessary. This is to withstand a real stress on the tire when the section of the mass of the wheel is accelerated from zero velocity (when touching the road) (4), to double velocity of the vehicle, while moving at the top of the tire (wheel) (5). A stress is in opposite direction when it is decelerated back to the zero (6). The method presented has to meet requirements on the wheel assembly, to withstand a stress force, which repeats with every turn of the wheel and increases by a square of the real velocity. The balancing - compensation is done rather by removing the weight from the heavier area instead of adding the weight to the lighter area to counterbalance the heavier part of the wheel (tire), as is the present method. Up to date methods and designs indicate and compensate for imbalance only in stationary rotating wheels, efficient only for a stationary rotating wheels. Forces of the real rolling movement and accelerations on the cycloid path are until now ignored due to the acceptance of the preferred frame of reference. Accelerometers placed on the rolling wheel show a different reading than a stationary rotating wheel. Thus the preferred frame of reference doesn't represent reality, therefore all methods based on the old popular notion of the free choice of a frame of reference do not serve the purpose. The method of the wheel rolling on the rotating drum or rollers used in automotive industry has to be considered also as a stationary, meaning - not sufficient. Balancing methods of "automatic" internally distributed (balancing) mass can be right from this invention's point of view but appear having difficulty to control the distribution of balancing material and also limited reliability. For better appreciation of the invention significance, let us consider a tire of a jet landing by 300mph having all surface points accelerated from zero - while touching the runway - to 600mph plus, when on the top of the wheel, then decelerating back to zero. This repeats by each turn of the wheel. The accelerating stress is combined with the load pressure. This invention provides means to minimize this stress and increase of a safety of the vehicle.
