In order to improve the drying capability of a paper web in a drying unit of paper machines, comprising an upper set of heated drying cylinders and a lower set of heated or unheated drying cylinders or rollers, the invention is characterised in that the heating route, on which the paper web is heated is enlarged and the vaporisation route on which the paper web is not heated during its passage is lengthened by altering the course of said paper web.
En vue d'améliorer le séchage d'une bande continue de papier dans un groupe sécheur d'une machine à papier comprenant un jeu supérieur de rouleaux sécheurs chauffés et un jeu inférieur de rouleaux sécheurs ou de cylindres de séchage chauffés ou non chauffés, l'invention est caractérisée en ce que le parcours de séchage sur lequel la bande de papier est chauffée est agrandi, et en ce que le parcours de vaporisation sur lequel la bande de papier n'est pas chauffée lors de son passage, est agrandi en modifiant le cheminement de ladite bande de papier.
