Method and Device for the Preparation of Hot, Liquid Slag ------------------------------------------------------------------------- A b s t r a c t The invention concerns a method and device for preparing hot, liquid slag, in which the slag to be prepared is cooled to below its solidification temperature, whereby the liquid slag is conveyed to the upper area of a fluidized bed consisting primarily of a granular support material and whose (equilibrium) temperature is maintained below the solidification temperature of the slag. (Fig. 3)
