The invention relates to a method and a device for producing book covers for individual books of different format sizes. According to the invention, the data of the book to be bound are acquired by means of a software and catalogued, the book covers are cut to the desired format, a cover material adapted to said format is applied to the book cover, the corners are turned in, the interior fittings are applied to the book covers and the text block and the book cover are interlinked in a precise position.
Pour permettre une réalisation mécanique de couvertures de livres destinées à des livres individuels de formats différents, les données relatives au livre à réaliser sont détectées et cataloguées au moyen d'un logiciel, les couvertures de livres sont découpées au format souhaité, des revêtements de couverture adaptés au format sont appliqués sur la couverture de livre, les coins sont pliés, la partie intérieur du livre est mise en place dans la couverture et le bloc de feuilles et la couverture de livre sont reliés ensemble avec précision.
