The invention concerns a method and a device for transforming thermoplastic materials having a melting point and a solidification temperature, which consists in heating the thermoplastic material to a temperature higher than the melting point, whereby said heated material is transformed in a forming device by lowering therein the temperature of the thermoplastic material by a temperature at least close to melting point down to a temperature less than solidification temperature. Said method is characterised in that it consists in subjecting the thermoplastic material before and/or during its passage in the forming device, to a static electric field between a positive electrode in contact with the thermoplastic material and a negative or ground electrode in contact with the thermoplastic material.
Procédé de transformation de matières thermoplastiques présentant une température de fusion et une température de solidification, dans lequel on chauffe la matière thermoplastique à une température supérieure à la température de fusion, et dans lequel on transforme ladite matière chauffée dans un dispositif de mise en forme en y abaissant la température de la matière thermoplastique d'une température au moins proche de la température de fusion jusqu'à une température inférieure à la température de solidification, ledit procédé étant caractérisé en ce qu'on soumet la matière thermoplastique avant et/ou pendant son passage dans le dispositif de mise en forme, à un champ électrique statique entre, d'une part, une électrode positive en contact avec la matière thermoplastique et, d'autre part, une électrode négative ou masse en contact avec la matière thermoplastique.
