ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention relates to a method for transport and dosage of separate components in apparatus for extruding multi- component materials and to a device for carrying out the method. In accordance with the method, each separate component is pressed individually, via an adjustable valve, from a supply of the res- pective component into a dosing cylinder simultaneously pressing back the piston of the dosing cylinder for measuring a desired amount of the component. The valve is adjusted so that the dos- ing cylinder is connected to an extrusion nozzle for the rela- tive component and that the piston of the dosing cylinder is brought to expel the measured amount of compon??t through the extrusion nozzle. A device for carrying out the method includes a pump which is adapted to pump the separate components individ- ually from a supply of the relative component to an adjustabl- valve. The valve connects the pump, in one position of the valve, with one side of a dosing cylinder. In another position of the valve, the valve connects the dosing cylinder with an extrusion nozzle. The device also includes drive means, arranged for actu- ating the piston of the dosing cylinder for expelling the measur- ed amount of component through the extrusion nozzle.
