A device and method for treating ballast water, comprising an enclosure having LJV radiating means, and catalysts comprise a number of plates having turbulence and mixing generating means characterised in that said catalyst plates are arranged in said enclosure, and that the catalysts having turbulence and mixing generating means selected from one or more of the means from the group consisting of perforations, holes, punchings, structured pressings, corrugations, and grooves. The invention also concerns a system for treating ballast water in a ship and the use of said system.
L'invention concerne un dispositif et un procédé de traitement d'eau de ballast, comprenant une enceinte présentant des moyens de radiation LJV, et des catalyseurs comprenant un certain nombre de plaques présentant des moyens de génération de turbulence et de mélange, caractérisés en ce que lesdites plaques catalytiques sont aménagées dans ladite enceinte, et en ce que les catalyseurs présentant des moyens de génération de turbulence et de mélange sélectionnés parmi un ou plusieurs des moyens dans le groupe consistant en perforations, trous, poinçons, pressages structurés, ondulations et rainures. L'invention concerne également un système de traitement d'eau de ballast dans un bateau et l'utilisation dudit système.
