A plant has a fluidised bed dryer (1) and a fluidised bed cooler (2). A mixer (3) in which supplied thick sludge is mined with dried sludge is arranged upstream of the fluidised bed dryer. The dried sludge is branched off between the fluidised bed dryer (1) and the fluidised bed cooler (2). The amount of recirculated dried sludge is controlled depending on the temperature of the sludge mixture upstream of the fluidised bed dryer (1). The dust produced during drying is fed back to the drying process.

Une installation comprend un séchoir en lit fluidisé (1) et un refroidisseur en lit fluidisé (2). Un mélangeur (3) dans lequel les boues épaisses amenées sont mélangées aux boues séchées est monté en amont du séchoir en lit fluidisé. Les boues séchées sont déviées entre le séchoir en lit fluidisé (1) et le refroidisseur en lit fluidisé (2). La quantité de boues séchées remises en circulation est réglée en fonction de la température du mélange de boues en amont du séchoir en lit fluidisé (1). Les poussières qui se dégagent pendant le séchage sont ramenées au processus de séchage.
