The invention concerns a device and a method for heat treatment and impregnation, essentially by immersion, of wood or similar ligneous materials. The treatment method comprises a heating step for obtaining sudden evaporation of the water contained in the piece to be treated, followed by a step which consists in rapidly cooling the piece by contacting it with a liquid medium (6) containing wood preserving agent(s).
La présente invention est relative à un procédé et à un dispositif pour le traitement thermique et l'imprégnation, essentiellement par immersion, du bois ou des matériaux ligneux similaires. Le procédé de traitement comporte une étape de chauffage permettant d'obtenir une vaporisation brutale de l'eau contenue dans la pièce à traiter, suivie d'une étape de refroidissement rapide de la pièce par mise en contact avec un milieu liquide (6) contenant un (des) agent(s) de préservation du bois.
