A method and a device for use in calibrating a projector image display towards a display screen, wherein the display screen is equipped with a plurality of discrete light detection points on or in the front surface of the screen, or located immediately below the front surface, wherein each light detection point or groups thereof are associated with a light detector, wherein at least one image is projected towards the display screen, and wherein it is determined which image pixel or pixels of the projected image hit the respective detection point on the screen, and/or wherein brightness and/or colours in the projected image are correlated by comparing measurements at the detection points and relevant projector parameters are adjusted correspondingly.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif pour une utilisation dans le calibrage d'un affichage d'image à projecteur vers un écran d'affichage, l'écran d'affichage étant équipé d'une pluralité de points de détection de lumière discrète sur ou dans la surface frontale de l'écran, ou situés juste au-dessous de la surface frontale. Chaque point de détection de lumière ou groupes de ceux-ci est associé à un détecteur de lumière. Au moins une image est projetée vers l'écran d'affichage, et l'on détermine le ou les pixels de l'image projetée qui frappent le point de détection respectif sur l'écran, et/ou la brillance et/ou les couleurs dans l'image projetée sont corrélées en comparant les mesures aux points de détection pour ajuster en conséquence les paramètres du projecteur concerné.
