Disclosed are a method and a device for wear inspection of a nuclear fuel channel. The device comprises a support section having an outer pipe which can be inserted into the nuclear fuel channel, and upper and lower fittings which are fastened to upper and lower ends of the outer pipe, respectively; a horizontal moving section having a plurality of elongate round plates which are disposed in the outer pipe to define a tubular configuration, and a plurality of expanding and contracting segments which are alternately mounted to an inner surface of each elongate round plate in a vertical direction; an operating section having an operating rod which is centrally placed in a space defined by the elongate round plates, and a plurality of expanding and contracting elements which are alternately fitted around a circumferential outer surface of the operating rod in a manner such that the expanding and contracting elements can be engaged with or disengaged from the expanding and contracting segments of the horizontal moving section, respectively, to allow the elongate round plates to be moved in a horizontal direction; and an impressing section having molding cups which are placed on a circumferential outer surface of the outer pipe in such a way as to be connected and moved integrally with the elongate round plates and impression materials which
