Method for welding pipes (2, 3) to each other, in which the outer side of the one pipe is engaged tightly with the help of first clamping means and the outer side of the other pipe is engaged tightly with the help of second clamping means, in which the first and second clamping means are kept in line and with their ends close to or against each other by means of a rigid frame on which both clamping means are arranged, after which welding means are operated in order to make a welding seam from the outside for connecting both pipes, after which the frame with the first and the second clamping means and with the welding means is moved along and over the other pipe to the other end of the other pipe for repeating the aforementioned steps for welding the other pipe and a next pipe.
La présente invention concerne un procédé permettant de souder des conduites (2, 3) les unes aux autres. Selon ce procédé, la face extérieure d'une conduite est fortement mise en prise, à l'aide de premiers moyens de serrage, et la face extérieure d'une autre conduite est fortement mise en prise, à l'aide de seconds moyens de serrage. Les premiers et seconds moyens de serrage sont maintenus en ligne et leurs extrémités sont maintenues à proximité l'une de l'autre ou l'une contre l'autre, au moyen d'un cadre rigide, sur lequel les deux moyens de serrage sont placés. Des moyens de soudage sont ensuite actionnés, afin de réaliser un joint de soudure, à partir de l'extérieur, dans le but de connecter les deux conduites. Le cadre portant les premiers et seconds moyens de serrage et les moyens de soudage est alors déplacé le long et sur l'autre conduite, jusqu'à l'autre extrémité de l'autre conduite, afin de répéter les étapes précédemment mentionnées, dans le but de souder l'autre conduite à une prochaine conduite.
