A charging method for goods and services provided by application programs through a data network is suggested, comprising the following steps: specifying the cost for using each application program in terms of charging units; providing a transaction server adapted to receive and store information related to the use of each application program; providing an application program interface between each application program and the transaction server, adapted to transfer information regarding the cost of each application, in terms of charging units, from the application program to the transaction server. A device for carrying out the method is disclosed, comprising means for receiving and storing information about the cost to be registered for a customer for using an application, said information being received in the form of charging units; means for calculating the cost of said session in terms of a valid currency.
La mise en oeuvre de ce procédé de chargement de biens et de services assurée par des programmes d'application sur un réseau de données comporte les opérations suivantes: spécification du coût d'utilisation de chaque programme d'application exprimé en unités de taxation, recours à un serveur de transaction conçu pour recevoir et stocker de l'information relative à l'utilisation de chaque programme d'application et recours à une interface de programme d'application entre chaque programme d'application et le serveur de transactions, conçue pour transférer, du programme d'application vers ledit serveur, l'information relative au coût de chaque application, exprimé en unités de taxation. L'invention concerne également un dispositif permettant d'exécuter ce procédé comprenant des moyens de réception et de stockage d'une information relative au coût à enregistrer pour un client utilisant cette application, ladite information étant reçue sous forme d'unités de taxation et des moyens permettant de calculer le coût de ladite session exprimé en monnaie en vigueur.
